BBTC is founded by Lilian Musyawa Kikuvi, Shantelle Thompson, and Gemma Saunders, and is deeply rooted in First Nations, Kenyan, and Queer cultural influences. We deliver immersive programs that sit at the intersection of Leadership, Workplace Culture, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

In a time of rapid change and increasing complexity, today’s workplaces are facing rising expectations around leadership, culture, and DEI. At BBTC, we help organisations develop the skills and systems that matter most right now, including cultural intelligence, inclusive leadership, and collective resilience, while also preparing for success in an ecosystem increasingly shaped by AI and technology.   • Head – Sharing evidence-based data, research, and the rationale behind why change is needed.

  • Hands – Providing practical tools and actionable strategies to implement and sustain meaningful change.

BBTC’s programs draw on First Nations, Queer, and Kenyan cultural practices and engage the head, heart, and hands to create human-centred experiences that are practical, transformative, and built for lasting change.


OUR OFFERINGS

  1. Signature Workshops (90 minutes, 2 hours, or 4 hours):
    Stand-alone workshops based on key cultural pillars: Yarning, Kiki, and Harambee. Each session ends with an accountability action plan and provides the Becoming Better Together Toolkit to sustain impact and support ongoing learning.


  2. Activator Program (8 weeks):
    An immersive experience blending all three cultural pillars to fast-track inclusive leadership and DEI. The program includes pre-session preparation, an all-day immersive workshop, and post-session integration with follow-up workshops, the Better Together Toolkit, and regular reminders to embed learning.


  3. Equity Impact Assessments (EIAs):
    A structured, evidence-informed process to evaluate the impact of policies, programs, or decisions on diverse groups. EIAs build internal capacity to embed equity, focusing on identifying barriers, inclusion opportunities, and driving equitable outcomes across systems and culture
